On Saturday, the skies cleared and the sun came out, so we headed outside. The morning saw us trying our aim and archery skills, plus racing around the fitness trail stations. After working up an appetite, it was back to Si Yay Lum to make personal pizzas and veggies for lunch.
In the afternoon, we tackled the Jean Milne Nature Trail and added in the Blue Ribbon loop for extra challenge. Our Brownies and Guides sped along the extra rugged terrain, despite its rating as a "Pathfinder and Ranger" trail. Back to camp to change, and then we were lucky to find the sun shining during our hour on the beach. Most of girls went in as a big group and ended up splashing and swimming for ages (to the leaders' great surprise).
On Sunday morning, we packed up, ate breakfast, cleaned, and still managed to squeeze in a trip to the Nature House and Enchanted Forest. Then back to load the the bus and catch the ferry home. It was a restful and relaxing camp, while still full of great opportunities to make new friends and try new things. We're looking forward to more bridging opportunities next year.
