Engineers do much more than build bridges and design fast cars; engineers help prevent disease, reduce poverty and create solutions to protect people and our planet. Engineering is an in-demand and rewarding option; in almost any industry you can imagine, engineers are involved. Many engineers also use their degree to become doctors, lawyers, CEOs and entrepreneurs.
UBC Engineering is committed to increasing diversity within our student body to better reflect the diverse society engineers serve. We hope you will assist us in getting the attached information out to all of the students you work with, both girls and boys, and help expose them to the rewarding options available by studying engineering.
