It's an exciting opportunity to walk the trail at night - lit by tiny lights with fun stations along the way. This is a family-oriented event, with nature displays, skits, face-painting, drumming, telescopes for stargazing, story-telling, animal-themed robots, and much more. The Girl Guides operate the food concession, sell s'more kits, and lead campfire songs.
Sparks and Brownies are invited to attend with their families.
Guides, Pathfinders, and Rangers are asked to contribute to the event by:
1. Donating baked goods
2. Helping out for an hour or so.
Older girls and leaders prepare and serve hot food and drinks. Girls also sell s'more kits and baked goods. It's a great way to work on service hours for awards like the Lady Baden-Powell, Canada Cord, and Chief Commissioners.
