Thank you to all the girls and parents who helped with Night Quest! We had a wonderful selection of baked treats on offer. The girls behind the "counter" handled a lot of customers over 2.5 hours - supplying everything from hot drinks and chili to s'mores kits and cookies. Record numbers of visitors - 2025 people - attended the event this year. Good weather helped, along with all the fun on offer. It's magical to walk the park trails at night, lit by candles. Local environmental groups provide displays, while costumed characters explain how they live in the forest - from bats and owls to flying foxes and moles. The Scouts' firepit demonstrates branding on wood, while the neighbours are doing facepainting and storytelling. Look through a telescope with the Royal Astronomical Society. Make s'mores at the fire next to the concession, run by keen Girl Guide volunteers. While this year's Night Quest is over, make sure to attend next March!
