Guides have a three year program (grades 4 to 6). Third years can choose to complete the Lady Baden-Powell Award, which is the highest award for Guides. Recipients must (i) complete all 8 program areas, (ii) participate in a major community service project, (iii) take a leadership role in planning and delivering a meeting, event, outing, or other special project, (iv) share their favourite experiences and memories of Guides, (v) attend 3 Pathfinder meetings, and (vi) create a personal reflection on taking action for a better world.
Pathfinders also have a three year program (grades 7 to 9). Over this time, they may choose to complete the Canada Cord, which is the highest award for Pathfinders. Recipients must (i) complete all 8 program areas, (ii) develop their leadership skills through planning and leading 3 camps or other special events, (iii) earn their Community Service Award, (iv) participate in bridging with both Rangers and a younger branch, (v) learn about first aid, and (vi) earn their Citizenship Certificate.
Rangers also have a three year program (grades 10 to 12). Each year, they may choose to complete the Trailblazer Leadership award, which includes Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels. The Gold Trailblazer Leadership Award is the highest accomplishment in Rangers. Recipients must (i) complete all 8 program areas, (ii) complete a Ranger Service Project (20+ hours), and (iii) complete the Cookie Campaign Challenge (over at least 4 cookie campaigns).
