What?
Plant trees in an area recently cleared of Himalayan blackberry (an invasive species). These trees will help the City of Vancouver reach its goal of planting 150,000 trees by 2020.
Bring a water bottle and clothing that can get dirty.
Gloves, training, tools, and plants are provided.
It's a drop-in event, so come for just an hour or the whole time.
If you really have fun, come back on Sunday from 10 am until 3 pm when any remaining trees will be planted .
